It started with this thought: Celebrities get interviewed because they're famous, but they're interesting because, well, they're people.  People are interesting.  So why not talk with journeyman actors, the people who serve coffee, deliver files and move plot forward?  The ones who literally wait in the wings "just in case".  Maybe even the ones whose faces you kinda recognize but names you might not.
