Laura Buckles

Living overseas while growing up taught me the importance of connection and understanding, as well as giving me the ability to over pack for any occasion.  I've studied at Second City, Sears and Switzer, HB Studios and Neighborhood Playhouse.  I perform monthly with the improv group Slow...Children at Play, and I'm an active member of  Moving Arts Theater Company.  
I started acting at 2 months old, when I embraced non-traditional casting by accepting the role of baby Jesus in my family's live nativity scene (...fine, I slept through most of it).  My three year run was cut short when at the age of 2, baby Jesus left the manger in search of chocolate chip cookies and excitement. 

As a working actor and awarding winning producer and writer, I'm still looking for connection, adventures and a (you guessed it) good cookie or two.
